Don Fritto and the partnership on the road with the company Garbo


Don Fritto is a new project that offers quality street food, but with an eye to tradition. The brand, in particular, has an unique partnership with Garbo, a company leader in the sector of breaded and battered products that celebrate the Roman tradition. The company, founded almost thirty years ago in Bracciano by the entrepreneur Andrea Comanducci, promotes local and quality products for both large-scale distribution and the HORECA sector.

What is Don Fritto?

"The project was born from an idea of ​​my son and nephew who, after school, decided to embark on this adventure to bring traditional, no-frills food to the road. In particular, Don Fritto - who is mainly dedicated to the preparation of fried foods - offers exclusively some dishes from the family business Garbo, as well as dishes completely prepared from scratch ".

Why did they choose  the Trailer and the Porter?

"At the moment the Don Fritto fleet consists of a Trailer and two Porters, but the desire is to soon add an Ape, to have a more complete range, which adapts to the many opportunities on the road and also to private events".

 How are the vehicles used?

“Don Fritto wants to embrace variety, not only of the dishes produced, but also of the events. For this reason it takes part both to private events such as weddings and parties, and to street sales activities. And when it will be possible, it will also be present at festivals and markets”.

How strategic is the truck during this period?

"Starting the business in this period certainly gives a great stimulus: you have to commit more than ever and know how to reinvent yourself quickly. In the case of Don Fritto, recently we introduced a home delivery service”.

What are Don Fritto's plans for the future?

"The guys would like to expand the business to offer work to other young people who, like them, want to start a business on the road. This is not a real franchise because they are studying a solution that has a very limited initial cost, to be accessible even to young people who do not have a large capital to invest ".

3. digitize production processes by streamlining them, sharing them, modifying the perception of the brand on the network and on social networks, also implementing the tools in terms of big data analysis
